1. Ring Theory： Fundamental Theorem of Symmetric Polynomials.
2. Group Theory：Solvable Groups. Simplicity of Alternating Groups.
3. Field Theory： Ruler-Compass Constructions. Galois Theory. Solvability of Polynomial Equations by Radicals.
4. Selected Topics.

1. To offer some basic knowledge on abstract algebra as a foundation of more advanced algebraic courses and possible applications to other mathematical sciences.
